Fun on the Rides and Adrenalin Kicksduring Trainee Excursion

This year’s excursion for trainee staff and students at Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH took place on May 27. Around 30 trainee staff and students, together with Dr. Sommer (CFO) and the training team consisting of Ms. Nürnberger, Mr. Hary and Ms. Sievers, all made their way to Europapark this year.

Full of anticipation, the group set off on an early-morning bus ride toward Rust some two hours away, arriving at their destination on time just as the park was about to open. The trainee staff and students split into small groups and headed toward the first rollercoasters. There was also time to sample some of the water rides as the weather was generally overcast with some sunny spells. Thankfully, the queues were usually pretty short.

At midday, everyone met up at the themed area “Italy” for lunch. There was a relaxed atmosphere and everyone was in good spirits. Team building was the main focus of the day, along with the networking of trainee staff and students. After lunch people were free to choose what they wanted to do and what rollercoaster they wanted to ride. At 6 pm everyone met at the bus and it was time to make our way home. As we entered the highway, the heavens opened but at that stage nobody cared.
