Having a coffee with...Thomas Strohhäker
Thomas has been with Rutronik since July 2023 and has been responsible for events as a Senior Project Manager at TRUH since mid-last year.. Here you can find out what daily challenges he faces and get an exclusive insight into his day-to-day work.
WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN TASKS?
Conceptualization, planning, and execution of events - this includes a range of events that only require approval from me and my colleagues, to the complete organization of trade shows and other events.
What projects have been keeping you busy lately?
At the moment, I am mainly occupied with Rutronik projects.
Next week, there is an event with our partner COMI at the Eisingen warehouse, the following week an event at a Rutronik customer in Mönsheim,
and then in March, the Embedded World in Nuremberg, where we will have a large exhibition stand.
How would you describe your job in just one sentence?
My job as an event manager is to stay calm when others get stressed, ensuring that all the different requirements come together smoothly in the end.
What do you particularly enjoy about working at Rutronik/TRUH?
I enjoy collaborating with different people across various areas for the projects.
It can sometimes be very demanding, but challenges are what make the job of an event manager so interesting.
