Rutronik Certified Engineer - From practice for practice

At Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH, every employee makes an important contribution to our success with their performance and competence. To be able to guarantee the best possible development and to constantly strengthen these important competences, further training and lifelong learning have a particularly high priority at Rutronik.

Since 2011, the range of further education courses has been supplemented by the "Certified Rutronik Engineer" program. The course combines theory and practice and stands for excellent technical competence across all product areas.

We benefit from high-quality further training like this as a whole team - because only together can we be successful, counteract the shortage of skilled workers, grow together and continue to develop. Even employees without technical training or studies have the opportunity to take on more advanced positions at Rutronik thanks to this comprehensive training program.

The training program is based on ten different modules with different focus points and is oriented to the classification groups of Rutronik's product catalog. The course content includes Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Passive Components, Active Components 1 to 4, Electromechanical Components, Storage & Displays, Boards, Embedded and Wireless. The course has been continuously updated as part of the Rutronik Academy, which was founded in 2012.

The further education comprises a total of 120 hours, over 21 days over several months, and is also open to the employees of customers and manufacturers.

In order to address the individual level of knowledge of the employees and to respond specifically to the need for further training, Rutronik also offers employees the option of participating in individual modules only. However, only those participants who have successfully completed all modules receive the final certificate and a trophy.

There is great interest in the diverse training program: the certificates and trophies have already been ceremoniously presented four times to a total of 148 employees to date.

Rutronik is proud that the training could also take place during the Corona pandemic. A total of 32 participants were able to successfully complete all the required modules in the form of webinars. Unfortunately, the ceremonial certificate presentation had to be cancelled due to infection control and will be made up for as soon as this is possible again. However, Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH would like to extend its warmest congratulations to all participants in advance.
