The 25th edition of ‘Beruf-Aktuell’, the region’s largest vocational training fair, took place at CongressCentrum and Jahnhalle in Pforzheim on Saturday, February 2, 2019.

The fair brings together all the initial and advanced training options available in the region’s industry, trade, service, and health sectors.
At this year’s event, 208 companies and schools took the opportunity to present themselves and their abilities. About 7000 visitors obtained information on possible career paths after leaving school.

The fair opened at 8.45am with a welcoming speech by Annette Hanfstein and was also attended by various local political and business representatives.

Rutronik presented itself at this year’s exhibition with a brand-new concept. This included, e.g., a monitor with image films or an iPad stand to take a look at the new Rutronik-Careers website.

This year, Rutronik was represented by the students Marcel Kappler and Filipe dos Reis, the trainees Lena Dettinger and Daron Serkizyan, and the Personnel Development colleagues Jasmin Nürnberger and Holger Hary.

The stand concept was very successful and attracted the interest of numerous visitors. This led to many engaging discussions with lots of interaction between the visitors and Rutronik staff.

The fair drew to a close at around 2pm once almost all the information material and the promotional gifts had been distributed to the attendees.

It was a lot of fun for all the participants and a positive change to their daily work routines. We look forward to receiving promising applications and next year’s event.
